Purpose

At DaySpring, we're excited about introducing children to a relationship with Jesus and helping them prepare for a life of loving and serving Him. We provide a variety of opportunities for learning about His Word and putting faith into action.

Nursery Ministry

Our nursery, for ages birth through 3 years, is staffed by church members as a ministry to young children and their families. In a safe and loving environment, children enjoy age-appropriate Bible lessons and experience the nurture of God's family. We trust that these early experiences will provide a foundation of love and belonging to God and His people.

Children's Church

Children's Church is provided for children ages 4 through 6th grade, during the morning worship services. Through Bible lessons, crafts, and music, children learn important truths about God and their part in His plan. Children's lessons are also provided in many of our home-based small groups.

Look for the launch of our new Sunday morning children's ministry, Sonrise, in October 2006!

Service

Many of our children are learning to put hands and feet to their faith through involvement in compassionate ministry. They are especially fruitful ministers in our nursing home outreach.

American Heritage Girls

American Heritage Girls is a faith-based Scouting program which promotes service to God, family, country, and community. DaySpring's Troop 1029 currently serves girls in grades 1-6 and meets on 1st and 3rd Monday evenings at the church. Girls enjoy earning badges and participating in outdoor experiences.
