Have you ever made a mistake in your life? Have you ever made a decision that you regretted - regret that comes from the heart, that makes tears come to your eyes, and makes your shoulders sag with the burden? Well there are people who are about to make that decision -- a decision to end a human life. It does not matter what circumstances or situation has brought them to this conclusion.
What does matter is that they are in need of help and unconditional love. These people don't need judgment rained down upon them, they need hope in a hopeless situation. They need to know that God has brought a blessing into their lives in the form of beautiful little baby boy or girl that lives inside them. God will stand with them through thick and thin, if they just trust in His unfailing grace and love. We are His chosen messengers. It is the appointed time; lives are at stake; we must respond.
Prolife ministry is not about judging others, but about loving others. Few respond to calls for repentance, but many respond to just a simple smile and kind word. The grace of God goes before us. And remember Matthew 4:19, "Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men." Here is an opportunity where the fish are in abundance and hungry for the bread of life. Don't you make a mistake that you will later regret.
