Matt Friedeman, Senior Pastor

Matt Friedeman is married to theformer Mary Boardman ofPascagoula,Mississippi. Together, they are raising six children. A Kansas native, he has lived in the Jackson area since 1987 andstill serves primarily as the Professor of Evangelism and Discipleship at Wesley Biblical Seminary. He has beenactive in the Jackson media as a columnist, radio talk show hostand television commentator. He received his education from the University of Kansas (B.A., M.A., Ph.D.) and Asbury Theological Seminary (M.Div.). He is the author of three books.

Jim Joyce, Associate Pastor

Jim Joyce has been married to the former Faith Ashcraft since 1975. They have three children and two grandsons, Braxton and Jacob one granddaughter Isabelle.  Jim has led and taught a lifestyle of worship all over the world. His gifting is one who pastors the body in having a relationship with Father God, having traveled extensively throughout the world fulfilling this calling. Jim has produced and recorded over forty albums for others and a live recording with eight of his songs including the title song "Shout Joyfully". He received his education from Life Christian University, Tampa, FL (B.A., M.A.).

Mary Friedeman, Children's Ministry

Mary Friedeman grew up on the Coast and has been married to Matt for twenty-two years. She home schools their six children, who range in age from a kindergartner to a high school senior. Mary has a B.A. in Christian Ministries from Asbury College and has served on staff at several churches. She loves to see children grow in their relationship with Jesus. Her joy is to launch children on their great adventure for God, as world-changers for the Gospel.
