Celebrate Recovery

DaySpring started our Celebrate Recovery Ministry in September 2007 and this powerful ministry in the Clinton area is going wonderful.  We have been having 18 to 25 a week and believe God will bring in many more to be ministered to in the area of Recovery.

In August of 2009 we started CR Inside at our Hinds County Penal Farm and have been having almost 60 men in a class on Monday and Wednesday nights. We just graduated 32 in our frist completed 10 week class in this A&D Program.                      

The purpose of our Celebrate Recovery ministry is to fellowship and celebrate God's healing power in our lives through the "Eight Recovery Principles." This experience allows us to "be changed." By working and applying these Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. We are learning how to work through our hurts, habits and hangups that have controlled our lives for many years. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others. We have our meetings each Thursday and have had many who have been attending for the time of blessing and encouragement.  Join us this week at 6 pm with Large Group then we go to Small Group meetings and end with a fellowship time and a meal together in the Clinton area for Celebrate Recovery!
