Part 1 — Trinity (II Corinthians 13:14)
God is three distinct individuals – God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit – is one true God.
- GRACE WAS DEMONSTRATED TO US BY JESUS
- He came to us when we didn’t deserve Him.
- He showed us what His Father is like.
- He invited us into His Kingdom.
- He provided the means for us to enter the Kingdom.
- He promised us more than this life offers.
- LOVE IS THE FATHER’S GIFT THAT KEEPS ON GIVING
- He created us in His image.
- He gave Moses the Law, but on our own, we can’t do what it says.
- He gave us His Son so we could see Him in the flesh.
- He gave us His Word so that we would have a roadmap to him.
- FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD IS AVAILABLE TO US THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT.
- He convicts us of our sin (John 16:8)
- He draws us to Himself (John 6:44)
- He fills us with His presence (Acts 2:4)
- He cleanses us from sin (Ephesus 5:26)
- He reminds us of what Jesus taught us (John 16:13)
- He comforts us when we need comforting (John 14:26)
- He renews us (Titus 3:5)
- He empowers us when we need power (Acts 1:8)
- He places His seal on us (Ephesians 1:13-14)
- He is available to us 224/7 (John 14:16)
Conclusion: The Trinity is not a belief in three gods. There is only one God.
