Work and Witness

When we get a bargain at a store or when someone does something great for us,  it's only natural that we would want to share our good fortune with others. At Christmas time, friends will go on and on about the super deals they got at this store and that store. When someone who was sick returns to their normal life, they will usually talk about their friends being there for them... visiting them  in the hospital... making food for them...
The members of DaySpring Community Church feel exactly that way. While we were sinners, God sent his only Son to die for us. Because of this, we not only have the promise of eternal life, but we also have the promise of a more fulfilling life in the here and now. How can we not want to share that news?

In other parts of the world there are literally millions upon millions who haven't even heard of the Gospel or its redeeming message.

Do you have a heart for missions? Currently, many of our members participate in twice-yearly, short-term mission trips to Belize. Our members have also taken  mission trips to Alaska and countries in Africa, South America and Asia. Our  hope is that in the next handful of years, we will have sent a significant number of our members out to the mission field full time.
"Then Jesus came to them and said, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing
them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching  them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always,  to the very end of the age.'"
(Matt. 28:18-20, New International Version)
